Conference Basics
Whistletree Enterprise is an on-demand, reservationless, audio conferencing service that uses the highest quality platforms available in the conferencing industry. Our service also utilizes Tier 1 long distance carriers, ensuring the highest audio quality available. After signing up, you may use your conference instantly, and at any time you need to.
Participants of your conference call can access the conference with either a Free or toll free (800) number. This allows you to better control the cost of your conferences.
Cost
Toll Free: Whistletree’s toll-free conferencing costs between 6 and 8 cents depending upon which plan you select. For more information about our pricing plans, click here.
Free Conferencing: If you choose to use our Free Conferencing Service, you won’t receive a bill from Whistletree. Instead, conference participants will bear the cost of dialing a U.S. long distance number. This form of conferencing is helpful if you don’t wish to pay for all conference participants through an 800 number that is billed directly to you. Many of our Free Conferencing customers have dialing plans on their home, mobile or office phones that allow for unlimited calls in the U.S., meaning that they don’t sustain incremental cost.
For Whistletree Enterprise 800 conference calls the dial-in number is a toll-free number. The Company Administrator will manage all billing for Toll Free calls placed by individuals under that account on one credit card making the company-wide billing process simple and streamlined. (Special arrangements can be made for a monthly billing process by request.) Since the participants in the conference will use a toll-free number, they will not pay anything to use our service.
Billing
For Whistletree Free Conferencing, nothing extra will appear on your bill other than the call itself, billed at your normal long distance rate. 800 Toll-Free conference calls will be billed to the credit card you provided us for billing purposes. Billing information will include number of minutes, dates, and participant accounts that placed toll free conference calls during the month. (Special arrangements can be made for a monthly billing process by request.) There may also be surcharges, state and federal taxes, and Universal Service Fund Fees billed to you that appear as a percentage of your total monthly billing.
Your company administrator may also view company conferencing activity anytime by looking at the Reports section of your company account page. This page will also provide you a report about each conference call including participant names, dates and times of the call.
Creating an Account
The administrator of the company account may create an account for individuals by clicking on this link www.whistletree.com/admin/magager/addaccount.jsp. You'll need to provide us your credit card information and the names of those at your company who require an account. Don’t worry though; you can always add accounts for your company after you sign up. Upon signing up, the administrator will receive a welcome email with account information such as dial-in numbers and access codes.

Technology
Whistletree Enterprise Conferencing uses a high-end, state of the art conferencing switch with the highest audio quality available. We then integrated this service with the newest digital technologies.
Create & Manage Your Accounts Online
You can create as many accounts as you’d like for company employees. You can even choose your custom access codes. (Some of our customers use employees’ phone numbers for access codes, for example)
All of your billing and conference call activity is available on line through your secure login.
Reservationless Service
You may start conferencing immediately, using your conference bridge at any time, day or night.
Live Conference Manager
During your live conference, you may view caller details including the identity of all callers. You may also control your conference from your computer, such as turning recording off and on, muting lines or closing the conference.
Automatic Notification and Playback Emails
By using the team features, you may send automatic notification for upcoming calls and send recorded conferences to those who were unable to join.
One Touch Recording
We simplify the recording process by providing one-touch recording. You can record any of your conference calls by pressing the * (star) key at the end of your access code.
Detailed Post Call Reports
For each conference, we provide you a detailed report with information regarding conference participants, times and duration of the conference.
Multiple Recording and Podcasting Solutions
We provide many ways for you to distribute recorded conference calls including downloading the recording to your computer, emailing them, and podcasting options as well.
Multiple Security Settings for Recorded Conferences
If you do choose to record a conference, you may assign multiple security options to a recording, making it public or accessible only by you. Recordings may be deleted by you at any time.
Webinar Service Available
Some of our plans come with Webinar services included. This allows you to conduct online presentations during your conference call.
